AN UP-CLOSE LOOK AT THE GOSPEL OF JOHN

This summer we are taking an up-close look at the Gospel of John, which is a first-hand account of the words and actions of Jesus. We believe that is the best place to start when you are evaluating Christianity. It all starts with Jesus, who invited people to “come and see” what He was all about. Whether you are someone exploring the Christian faith or someone who is wanting to grow in your faith, an up-close look at Jesus will help you take your next step spiritually. So, come and see with us this summer!

There are several ways that you can engage with the Gospel of John this summer including:

SUNDAY MORNINGS: Our teaching will focus on the Gospel of John and we will break it down in a way that makes sense (even if the bible is something new to you). We meet on Sunday mornings @ 10 am (if you show up a little early we’ve got free coffee and some killer mini-donuts for you).

DAILY DEVOTIONS: All summer long we will provide daily devotions Monday-Saturday to help you personally engage with the Gospel of John. We have FREE printed copies you can grab at church starting May 24th. If you would like us to send you one, please email us your address here. You can also read the daily devotional posts here starting June 7th. If you set aside 15 minutes a day to read and interact with these devotionals, it can change your life.

SEEING TOGETHER: Each Sunday we will provide discussion questions from the message that you can use with your small group, your friends, or an accountability partner. We will also post them here, beginning June 7th.

COMMUNITY-BUILDING EVENTS: Summer is a great time to hang out and build community. We see Jesus better together. Each month we will have an event designed to help you connect with other folks at Journey. Here’s the list:June 21 - Church Picnic / July 12 - All-Church Pool Party / August 14 - I-Cubs game & fireworks / September 13 - Sunday AM Tailgate Party & Kickoff Sunday. We would love to have you hang out with us this summer! Get the details on our events page.
