WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE?
When you make the decision to follow Jesus, you don’t step across the finish line, you are crossing the starting line. You may be wondering, “What’s next? Where do I go from here? How do I make this decision matter?” Those are great questions. The mission of Journey Church is, “Helping people take their next step toward Christ,” and we’d love to help you answer those questions. In this three-week series we’re focusing on simple steps you can take to strengthen and deepen your faith. We’ll be talking about the significance of baptism, the value of connecting with other Christians, and how to develop daily habits that grow your faith. WHAT IF WE ARE COUNTING ALL WRONG?
The first instruction God gave to humanity was, “be fruitful and multiply.” Often our life is centered around addition. “If I just had this… If I could add that to my life… then I would be happy. But God uses multiplication to point us toward significance. We are called to multiply. To multiply disciples (Matthew 28:18-20). To multiply leaders (2 Timothy 2:2). And to multiply churches (Acts 1:8). Our church is a part of Open Bible Churches and the focus of OBC is, “Mission to Multiply.” This series is about how we can participate in that mission and why it matters.

GOD AS FATHER I GET. AND JESUS. BUT WHAT IS A “HOLY SPIRIT”?
When Christians talk about God, they speak of a triune God - three in one - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a hard concept to wrap your head around for many of us. But Jesus told His followers that it was to their benefit that He was leaving the world and was sending the Holy Spirit to dwell within them (John 16:7). In this series, we are going to talk about the Holy Spirit. His person, His presence, His power, and the ways He benefits our lives.
