OUR current SERIES: SUMMER 2019
YOU CAN LEARN A LOT FROM SOMEONE WHO’S BEEN THERE.
The Apostle Paul was one of the most significant leaders of the early Christian church, and his letters in the New Testament have formed and shaped much of the belief of the church for centuries. Toward the end of his life, Paul was imprisoned in Rome. While in prison, Paul didn’t focus on his problems or his situation, he spent his time writing letters to various groups of Christians to encourage them and teach them what it meant to follow Jesus. Four of those letters found their way into the New Testament and we are going to spend the entire summer reading them and unpacking the truth in them. You can listen to podcasts from this series here.
OUR LAST SERIES: APRIL/MAY 2019
A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS.
Jesus taught His followers a lot of things. Day after day for three and a half years they listened to everything Jesus had to say. Then He died. And His followers were really confused and disillusioned. But three days later He rose back to life and that changed everything. All of the sudden things He said like, “Don’t be afraid,” took on new meaning. All of Jesus’ promises took on new life when He did. Don’t miss this series that helps us to understand how Jesus’ resurrection changes everything. You can listen to the messages from this series here.
OUR NEXT SERIES: SEPTEMBER 2019
FAITH IS A JOURNEY AND EVERYONE IS SOMEWHERE ON THE ROAD.
Talk about faith and people are all over the map. Some people are skeptical or even dismissive of God. Others are seeking, but not quite there yet. Many believe, but are trying to figure out what it means to live a life of faith. The good news is that the world has been this way forever. The better news is that Jesus said this is why He came to us. By looking at how Jesus interacted with the doubters, the seekers, and the followers, we can find our place on the road and how we can help others in their journey.
