OUR current SERIES: OCTOBER 6 & 13, 2019
PRAY. SEND. GO.
The final mission that Jesus gave His followers that we have recorded in the Bible is that they should go and be witnesses for Him, starting in their city and working outward to the ends of the earth. Today, missionaries and the mission of Jesus are still reaching the farthest corners of our planet. Join us on October 6 & 13 as we focus on missions and our role as a church in following Jesus’ mission.
OUR LAST SERIES: SEPTEMBER 2019
FAITH IS A JOURNEY AND EVERYONE IS SOMEWHERE ON THE ROAD.
Talk about faith and people are all over the map. Some people are skeptical or even dismissive of God. Others are seeking, but not quite there yet. Many believe, but are trying to figure out what it means to live a life of faith. The good news is that the world has been this way forever. The better news is that Jesus said this is why He came to us. By looking at how Jesus interacted with the doubters, the seekers, and the followers, we can find our place on the road and how we can help others in their journey. You can listen to podcasts from this series here.
OUR NEXT SERIES: OCTOBER-NOVEMBER 2019
TABOO: A social or religious custom prohibiting or forbidding discussion of a particular practice or forbidding association with a particular person, place, or thing.
Some topics are considered too hot for everyday conversation. So, in an effort to be polite or politically correct, these topics become “taboo”. the only time we tend to talk about them is when we yell at each other about them on social media. Well, we are going to talk about them. Not from a political position, but in an effort to understand what the Bible has to say about these topics. Topics like the immigration crisis. Abortion. Gender identity. Social equality. We want to see these topics through the filter of Scripture, not just someone’s talking points. We’re putting all our cards on the table and we hope you’ll join the conversation. Taboo starts on Sunday, October 20th.
